We are pleased to announce that the date of the 7th Congress of the Pan American Dengue Research Network will be April 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2020 in Lima, Peru.

"Seventh Meeting of the Pan American Dengue Research Network"

Introduction

Dengue viruses (NNVs) are the most important human arboviral pathogens. They are the cause of dengue fever, a viral infection transmitted by arthropods that affects people around the world. In many Latin American countries, the four DENV serotypes are actively circulating. In the tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, dengue is considered one of the most serious health problems; In addition, demographic changes, rapid urbanization and global travel have contributed to the spread of the virus to new geographic regions.

Our goals for this year's meeting include:

  • Provide an update on the state of dengue and relevant flavivirus that currently affect public health in the Americas (Zika, chikungunya and others)
  • Present the latest research in the Americas on virology, immunology, pathogenesis, control and prevention, economic impact, treatment and vaccines, clinical studies of dengue and other relevant flavivirus and their fellows.
  • Provide information on funding opportunities to study dengue and other relevant flavivirus in developing countries.

Pandengue 2020 Keynote Speaker
